There are two basic causes of variation – natural environmental factors and contaminants caused by man. Contaminants are usually man-made, but not in all cases, as there are also naturally occurring contaminants. A main influence on the type and concentration of contaminants is how close the water is to population centers, industry, livestock and/or agricultural operations etc. Natural causes of changes in water quality are mainly due to the source of the water supply. Some examples of common water sources are aquifers, rivers, reservoirs, run-off, wells, springs etc. These variations in source contribute to the difference of the mineral content in water. These variables cause water to have very different properties, such as taste and smell or to “behave” or perform differently around the house, especially in an ionizing unit. - Odourless: Pungent odour is often a problem in regions with high level of pollution. ASL water solutions remove this problem of bad odour. The water available to you is made absolutely odourless.
- Colourless: Water may have a different colour due to a number of reasons. It may be due to suspended impurities or dissolved impurities. ASL Water Solutions addresses this problem effectively and provides you with colourless water.
- Not turbid: Turbidity is a common issue in several areas in urban as well as rural neighbourhoods. The water systems by ASL make the water clear as a crystal. It removes turbidity altogether.
- Iron removed: Iron, phosphorous, and traces of other undesirable ions are injurious to health. ASL helps remove these. At times, chlorine dosing is also done to further enhance quality of water.
- Residual calcium removed: Residual calcium in water causes temporary hardness. The presence can be regulated by boiling. However, this solution is not viable for home uses like bathing and washing. ASL Water Solutions removes it making water more usable.
